Broccoli Rabe/ Mustard Greens

 

Chilly Out Today

The mustard greens and broccoli rabe are doing great! Had to bring inside because it’s been in the 20’s here in CT.  Fear not we will still have fresh veggies!  Here is the latest progress.  

Had a little problem lately with fungus gnats but the best product out there is NEEM OIL it works wonders as well as the yellow sticky traps!  Problem with fungus gnats, once you get one they can multiply super fast, have to attack the problem right away.  The yellow sticky traps get the adults and the neem oil kills off the larvae in the soil.  I added mulch to the soil as they do not like that and can’t lay their eggs.  Fear not!

Small flower heads starting to form!
